Mark Jones
un edited interview from Ghost

Ghost: What's your favourite scary movie?

Mark: My favorite scary movie is probably "Psycho."

Ghost: What inspired you to make Fraternity Massacre?

Mark: I wanted to make this movie for two reasons.  First, I wanted to make a horror/comedy with gay characters.  To
often in horror movies there are no gay characters.  If there is a gay character, he is a minor character and gets
killed off and certainly never gets to kiss or have a boyfriend.   My second reason for making this movie was to
showcase a great old amusement park here in Memphis.  The original title for the film was, "Fraternity Massacre at
the Haunted Amusement Park."  Sadly, the amusement park wouldn't let me shoot there.  Even more sadly, the park
has gone out of business since 2005.

Ghost: Did anything scary happen while filming this?

Mark: Nothing to scary happened while filming the movie. However, it was a little spooky being the last person on the
island at 3 AM closing down the set.   Lot of scary noises out near the river.

Ghost: Were most of your cast members gay?

Mark: The gay characters were played by gay actors.  A few other gay actors were in the movie as frat brothers, one
gay actor was a ghost.   Most of the characters were played by straight actors.

Ghost: Where can people watch this film?

Mark: The movie has screened in film festivals.  I'm hoping to get a distribution deal.

Ghost: Have you ever had a real life homo horror moment?

Mark: A real life homo horror experience?  Maybe one or two late nights at a bar.

Ghost: Any real life  homo horror survival tips you can offer us?

Mark:  Beware of trolls hanging around late at night in the bars.

Ghost:
Is there a secret meaning behind all the Starwars collectibles hidden in the backgrounds?

Mark:
I'm a big star wars / star trek fan.   Also a big baseball fan.  Did you catch that joke?   The frat brothers
names.
